The Clinical Supervisor will co-manage CICA’s clinical operations, inclusive of providing clinical supervision to a cohort of independently licensed clinicians, developing ongoing training/continuing education opportunities, and creating programs and policies that promote improved quality of clinical care at the practice. Additionally, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible (along with the Clinical Director) for promoting overall staff morale and satisfaction, and engaging in advocacy on behalf of the clinical staff, as necessary.
The Clinical Supervisor is a dual clinical and administrative role, entailing both a client-facing caseload, as well as non-clinical time focused on administrative, supervisory, and programmatic responsibilities.
Maintain a caseload of at least 24 cases for ongoing individual or couples’ psychotherapy, including conducting case assessments, creating treatment plans and completing timely documentation
Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to practice standards for quality clinical care and overall growth
Support recruitment efforts for fellow Clinical Supervisors, Clinicians and Clinical Interns to ensure adequate staffing of clinical department
Manage and consult with Clinical Supervisors to ensure delivery of quality clinical care as well as exhaustive support for Clinicians and Clinical Interns
Assume supervisory role for Clinicians and Clinical Interns across the practice, as needed, including responding to clinical crises
Engage in monthly Operations Meetings and conduct annual reviews of direct and indirect reports
Leverage practice EMR system to maintain timely and appropriate clinical documentation (progress notes, discharge summaries, collateral notes, etc.)
Attend all required staff/operations meetings, peer consultations, and individual clinical consultations
Build and maintain a full caseload of 24 active weekly cases (built progressively over several weeks)
Meet/exceed weekly productivity targets, established upon hire
REQUIRED: Current independent licensure in Psychology or Social Work (PsyD, PhD)
REQUIRED: Four or more (4+) years of post-licensure work experience
REQUIRED: Three or more (3+) years of prior experience providing direct supervision
PREFERRED: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational and leadership skills
PREFERRED: Propensity for problem-solving through critical/challenging circumstances, particularly retaining the ability to simultaneously hold multiple divergent perspectives and competing priorities before making decisions
PREFERRED: Eagerness to collaborate with other team members to work towards shared goals/objectives

Reimbursement eligible for relevant CEU credit-granting courses/trainings after six (6) months of full-time service
Bonus/incentive eligible after twelve (12) months of full-time service with full active caseload (24 client sessions/week)
