Danny Iris Reinan (they/he) joined Collaborative Insight Counseling Associates (CICA) as a Practice Assistant in November 2022.

Danny's role at CICA involves being one of the first points of contact for prospective clients who are seeking counseling services. With his past experiences as a student-practitioner working within school-based mental health systems, Danny understands how daunting and complex it can be to seek out mental health services. He aims to treat all incoming clients with compassion and thoroughness so that they can get in the proverbial door smoothly and start receiving the support and services that they need.

Danny earned their Bachelor's of Social Work and their Bachelor's in Theater, with a concentration in Playwriting, from Augsburg University in 2022. They are now a second-year Master's candidate in Lesley University's Expressive Therapies program, where they study drama therapy. They hope to become a drama therapist specializing in work with LGBT+ youth.

When they're not up to their ears in schoolwork, Danny can be found drawing, writing for stage, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or exploring the city in search of outdoor cats to shower with affection.
