Taylor Lombard joined Collaborative Insight Counseling Associates (CICA) as a Clinical Supervisor and independently licensed clinical Psychotherapist in November 2022.

Taylor specializes in working with college students, young adults, and adults navigating various challenges such as life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and disordered eating. She utilizes approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed care to meet clients where they are at and foster the development of skills that will help navigate through life.

In addition to being a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Taylor is also credentialed as a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. She incorporates these frameworks along with mindfulness into her practice to facilitate  mind-body connection and assist clients who are seeking to improve their relationship with their body and food. Taylor focuses on body neutrality and takes a Health at Every Size approach in her clinical practices.

Taylor also embodies a strength-based, multicultural informed, and feminist lens to assist clients in navigating systems of oppression and meet their specific needs. Taylor has also extensive experience working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and can provide specific support to this community such as writing gender affirmation surgery letters.

Taylor earned her B.A. in Psychology and Theater Arts from Brandeis University in 2013. She then went on to earn her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Dance/Movement therapy from Lesley University. Early in her career, Taylor worked primarily with adolescents in various settings such as community organizations, therapeutic schools, and psychiatric hospitals practicing individual, family, and group therapy.

Fun fact: Some of Taylor’s favorite hobbies include playing video games and board games. She loves playing trivia and is very competitive, although will almost always get the sports question wrong.
